Our Mission is to provide unique resources to build skills, knowledge and access to opportunities for the personal and professional development of local young people, and adults from deprived communities in Doncaster and surrounding areas.

Our Aims and Objectives

We are committed to benefiting our community by delivering a wide range of services and activities aimed at:

• Addressing health inequalities and combating social and economic hardship in South Yorkshire, the surrounding regions, and beyond.

• Working closely with individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, ethnically diverse communities, and under-represented groups by providing activities that enrich the community, enhance life skills, foster aspirations, improve physical health, support mental well-being, and offer social prescribing remedies.

• Adding social value and creating social networks that enhance inclusion, combat social isolation, and enable individuals to develop personal skills that open doors to employment and further education.

What We Do

Go Swimstars Community is more than swimming; it's a catalyst for positive change by developing opportunities. Our initiatives encompass a wide range of aquatic training programs, lifeguard training, and skills building activities. We're here to empower individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities, creating a safer and healthier community for everyone.

Swimming teaching offers a flexible career for life, demonstrated from our own team and our customers who become part of the team. We are here to help children, young people and adults achieve their ambitions.

We’re not just a swimming teaching centre, due to our links with local employers and in response to customer needs, we provide a range of health and safety, and customer care training courses in Doncaster.   We have opportunities available from the age of 14 and above.
